Flight Dynamics Model Libraries
In an effort to develop simulators for aerial platforms, and flight dynamics models for simulators, Aerotim has created Flight Dynamics Model Libraries that have reached a comprehensive and advanced level. Using the heritage of flight simulation advanced simulation, model libraries are packaged into Matlab/Simulink and C++ software libraries. Libraries can be used in a plug-and-play fashion in various applications. These libraries, include models such as:
- Blade Element Rotor Models with flap dynamics, and three-state dynamic inflow models.
- Tail Rotor Models
- Fan and Fenestron Models
- Aerodynamic Interaction Models
- Models for Airframe and Aerodynamic Surfaces
- Ground Interaction Models
- Engine and Fadec Models
These libraries, form the base of Aerotim’s flight dynamic software and can be used both for simulation and in analysis and design, significantly facilitating and shortening the product development cycle.
