System Identification

A typical development cycle for a flight dynamics model from flight testing to certification is about 1-2 years. Now, manufacturers are requesting flight dynamic models from flight testing o Level D certification within less than six months. To reduce time and cost, system identification methods are employed at Aerotim. We aim to automate most of our development through system identification algorithms that use flight manoeuvres that are specific to the relevant development effort. Related studies are being published around the world, and we are working on effective and our own unique solutions through our R&D team.
