Airbus H145 Simulator

This international project, included the development of the flight dynamic models for the Airbus H145 helicopter for a Level D full-flight simulator.

Aerotim developed dynamic flight models including a simulation of its Helionix® autopilot software without OEM support, which was launched with one of Europe’s leading simulator companies. Aerotim took part in flight tests to collect data. The flight model, including Aerotim’s model libraries for Level D certification was used to certify the FFS by EASA in 2018. A number of full flight simulators are now operational in Europe and are available for training of hundreds of pilots each year. In 2020, more simulators are expected to be certified and commissioned in Germany.
