HELSIM II Project

The HELSIM II Project – a continuation of the HELSIM Project – was launched to develop and deliver simulators for the AS 532 Cougar Phoenix I UL (TM) helicopters under Havelsan as the main contractor. Aerotim prepared the data package, which included helicopter geometry and aerodynamic data, obtained through measurements, documentation and conducted fluid dynamics analyses. As a result, aeromechanical data was produced for Level D modeling.

As part of the second package, Aerotim developed slung load models for external loads and cargo hook operations.
