Flight Dynamic Models
Aerotim develops Flight Dynamics Models that can be used primarily in flight training devices. Aerotim’s flight models have been used in flight simulators that are of up to Level D fidelity standards. Flight Dynamic Models include a representation of the aerodynamic behavior, autopilot models, propulsion system (engine, transmission, etc.) models, etc. for rotary-wing platforms. All of that can be done using flight test data and open literature information only; hence without the help or support of the aircraft manufacturer. So far, this has been done successfully for several different helicopter models produced by different manufacturers (e.g. Airbus Helicopter, Leonardo, etc.), and have been running in simulators which received Level D certification by EASA.

Aerotim can take part throughout the development processes, starting from flight tests, model development and simulator model integrations, fine tuning based on pilot feedback, testing and simulator certification.
